This information is then used to display adverts. The information collected is only linked to an anonymous cookie ID (alphanumeric number); it does not include any data that could be linked back to a particular person, such as their name, address or credit card number. The data used for targeted advertising either comes from Practisin2Play Limited or through third party website publishers.

Our Website offers member accessible community forums. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. To request removal of your personal data from our forum, please contact us. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal data, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.

Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

The security of your personal data is important to us. We encrypt the transmission of all sensitive data using secure socket layer technology (SSL).

We ensure that your personal data will not be disclosed to institutions and authorities except if required by law such as to comply with a subpoena or other regulation. When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

If Practisin2Play Limited is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal data, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal data.

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to use our Service. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to access our Services, take them into use, or send us any information about yourself. If you believe that we might have received any information from or about a child under the age of 13, please contact us via the Help Desk.

We do not collect any personal information unless we need it for a specific reason. Here we have listed the data we collect for your reference.

Data we receive directly from you or have your permission to obtain such data:

When you sign up for the Service, we ask for your username, password and email address. We need this data to identify you and to operate and provide the Service for you, and also to send you important messages about your account and the Service. We also use your e-mail address to send you other kinds of messages, like reports, surveys and offers that you are free to opt in or out from via the privacy section of the Practisin2Play application menu.

If you choose to, you can also give us additional information, like your real name or profile picture, to make your social experience better, but this is totally optional. If you log in with Facebook, we receive the following data from Facebook: Facebook username, real name, e-mail address and profile picture. We use those for the same purposes as when you give to us directly. We also get your list of friends from Facebook, which we use to connect you with your friends who already use our Service.

If you are in touch with our support agents about resolving issues in the Service, we keep the information about our interactions with you to help us provide a better service. We also store all messages sent to our forums to help users find useful information about the Service.

Your payment data is needed to process the billing of your Service subscriptions and other purchases you make. We only use PayPal, hence all your payment details are with PayPal.

Sometimes, if we run special campaigns or sweepstakes, like giving out instruments, we may need some additional information from you, such as an address where we can ship the instrument. In these cases, we provide more details to you about why we are collecting the data and how we use it.

Some data is collected automatically when you use the Service:

We use your IP address to bring our product to your device, but also to get an idea of your general location through IP geolocation data. We use this so that we can manage the content available in the Service in your territory or to show you pricing in your own currency. Your device identifiers, such as device ID, are collected e.g. for making sure the product displays correctly and performs optimally on your device.

We use the collected data for developing the Service and providing an even better experience for you. To do this, we also need analytics data, which is used for getting insights on user behaviour to make our products better. Analytics data mostly deals with aggregate data of groups of people, not individuals as such.

Instead of doing absolutely everything on our own, we have partners that provide services and data processing for us. We have listed the type of partners we use:

We use cloud service providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS) to store and deliver our content. These providers do not have access to the data itself but provide the infrastructure we need to provide our services.

Services like MailChimp help us make sure we send the right messages to the right people and only the types of messages you want to receive. Apart from your email address, they do not have access to your information.

We run certain analytics ourselves, but we also use partners and their tools for running analytics.

The Service includes features from our partners we use e.g. for our online advertising outside the Service. These partners may access and collect some of your data and they operate under their own privacy policies.

Payment partners are the parties who actually process the billing for the Service and deal with banks and credit card companies on our behalf. As this is a big responsibility, we only use trusted, PCI-DSS certified partners.

If we need to combat fraud or illegal activity, we may exchange data with other companies and organizations. We may also provide data to authorities to respond to their lawful requests.

We have social features in our Service, which means that other users may see your profile data and your activities in the Service, or comments or questions you post in our forums. You can manage the privacy of the social components of the Service through the privacy settings in the Practisin2Play application.

To sum it up, this is why we process your data:
To perform the contract, we process your data to,

    • • set up your account, operate the Service and allow you to use it as well as to manage our customer relationship with you
    • • provide you the services and products you request
    • • process transactions
    • • send you communications regarding our services

To enable you to use an even better Service, we also have a legitimate interest to process your data to,

    • develop and improve our Service and your user experience, in addition to customizing it for you
    • conduct analysis
    • provide social features in the Services
    • manage our customer relationship with you, provide support for you and respond to your questions and comments
    • provide you with our offers and promotions in the Service, in-app and by email
    • to serve, target, measure and develop our advertising
    • send you updates, alerts and other related information
    • to cooperate with authorities as required by law; and
    • monitor that the use of the Service is acceptable and to prevent activity in the Service we determine to be misconduct or potentially illegal

We retain your data as long as your user account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may end this relationship by deleting your account. We will then delete all your personal data from our own and our partners’ systems, including backups within 30 days, unless there is a legitimate business interest to retain the data, such as to comply with our legal obligations, to enforce our agreements or to resolve disputes.

The GDPR regulation provides our users in the European Union new and important rights to control their own personal data. We comply with all of these new rights requirements. You have the right to access your personal data we store about you. You can send a request via the help desk to obtain a copy of your data.

You also have the right to be forgotten. If you choose to delete your profile, we will delete all associated information and it will be like you never signed up in the first place (with the exceptions mentioned above, meaning that if we, for a legitimate reason, have the right to retain the data).

The right to rectification simply means that you have the right to correct or update your information. You may do this by editing your personal details on your profile if your information changes or happens to be incorrect.

You also have the right to restrict or object to us processing your information, which means e.g. that you can ask us to stop using your information to send you marketing communications. You can opt out from marketing communications via the Practisin2Play application privacy settings or by following the instructions in such communications.

If you have any complaints about our handling of personal data or want to know about something very specific in this regard, please contact us via the Help Desk. We take these matters seriously and will look into all requests and complaints.

Users from European Union member states also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data supervising authorities of their country.

Data security is a very big part of keeping your personal data secure in the digital world. We employ highly skilled engineers to manage our internal systems and take technical and organizational steps to make sure that we deliver our product in a secure way to our users. We expect the same level of dedication from our partners. We also make sure that only employees with a need to access personal data have the right to do so.

    What cookies does Practisin2Play use?
Our Service uses both session and persistent cookies. We and our partners use cookies to provide the Service and personalize it for you, to run analytics and target advertisement.

Users can adjust their browser settings to prevent cookies or to delete any cookies that have been saved in the browser, but this can result some parts of the Service not functioning properly.
